At the beginning of the semester my english teacher, Mrs. Whitt, told me I would never be able to make using the phrase Yee Haw in a sentence normal. So every day when I came into class I shouted Yee Haw as a greeting to the rest of the class. At first everybody laughed and I thought Mrs. Whitt might be  right, that Yee Haw could never be normalized, but I kept Yee Hawing and after a month I had done it.

Yee Haw is now a normal, casual phrase in Mrs. Whitt’s 5th period all thanks to Eliza.

Some people even said Haw Yee back to me. I have enjoyed saying Yee Haw to my class because it has helped me start conversations and get to know some people better.

This 5th period class has been a real hoot if you know what I mean. I have loved the discussions and shoutout to Mrs. Whitt for letting me call her sensei, and to all of you out there with a dream, You haven’t Yeed your last Haw yet kiddo.
