Mikayla Havison, Editor-in-Chief

Mikayla Havison is the editor-in-chief of the Spartana and has been on staff for three years. She enjoys writing editorials, as well as what she hopes are unique, feature stories. Outside of the Spartana, Mikayla is a part of the speech and debate team, Model United Nations, Project READS, the mayor’s youth engagement council of Fort Wayne, as well as many other extracurriculars. When Mikayla is not writing, editing or studying, she enjoys spending time with her neighbor’s cat and adding to her personal library. In the future, Mikayla hopes to study anthropology and journalism, as well as find a cure for her cat allergies.
